The owner of Pet Stop In Thomasville says the demand for dog costumes has steadily increased over the last few years.
Popular costume choices include pigs, fairies, and as you see here, penguins.
"This time of year people start coming in. Usually at the last minute. Come in and decide to go to a dog party or one of the events going on in town or in Tallahassee," said Pet Stop Owner Cindi Beever.
Merchants who sell costumes for people say they've actually seen a decline in sales over the last few years as more folks make their own costumes to save money.
