ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

It was a Boot, Shoot, and Boogie event Saturday at Wynfield Plantation in Albany.

The Junior League of Albany partnered with the Plantation to host their first annual event.

80 shooters competed in a 100 shell clay shooting competition for prizes.

It was all for a good cause and proceeds went toward the Children's Miracle Network and the Lily Pad.

"We've had numerous sponsors from the community, big sponsors, little sponsors everything that's covered our main cost to the golf carts, we've had a huge, overwhelming response for sponsorships and we are just very lucky to have that," says Callie Walker with the Junior League.

The event wrapped up tonight with a dinner and concert from country band Highway 55.
