ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
One of the biggest weeks of the year for Albany hit its peak Saturday as Albany State University hosted its annual homecoming parade.
Thousands came out to enjoy the ASU parade this morning as floats, cheerleaders and marching bands went down Pine Avenue in Albany.
One ASU alumnus said he came out this morning to support to his Alma mater, all while building camaraderie within the community.
"I'm excited about the Albany State Homecoming and I just came out to support it. We all in the community are family and we come to support it and we're excited to come out to support the Albany State Homecoming parade, the number 1 school in the state of Georgia," said Solomon Loud, ASU Supporter.
