SEATTLE (KOMO/CNN) - A pregnant mother says she was kicked off a public bus Tuesday because her son had a stinky diaper.
Nichole Hakimian rides the bus everyday with her 1-year-old son, Daniel. But when her baby - who had diarrhea and had to be taken to the doctor - pooped in his diaper, Hakimian didn't expect their ride to be cut short.
"And right after that she told me that I needed to get off the bus," Hakimian said. "I said why is that? She said your baby he smells really bad and it's not fair that we all have to smell that."
The bus driver forced Hakimian and her sick baby off the bus roughly half a mile from the clinic.
The incident upset Hakimian - who is four months pregnant - and after she changed her son's diaper, she immediately contacted the bus company.
The bus company is investigating the incident, but says the bus driver has an excellent 9 year record and although she feels bad about what happened, had to look out for other passengers.
"I feel like I was being discriminated against and bullied and it made me feel like crap it really did," Hakimian said.
