ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

If you ever need to get someone's attention try bending a steel bar with your hands or breaking a baseball bat in half.

As you can see it's working for kids at Magnolia Elementary School.

These guys are with the "Power Team", and they travel to schools all around the country encouraging kids to make good choices and excel academically so they can be the best they can be.

They also can break phone books in half and bend frying pans too.

"We really feel that if we grab their attention they will sit and listen to us throughout the program and for 35 years it's been working for us," said Shannon Waters

Free Will Baptist Church arranged for the Dallas faith based group to come to Albany. In addition to spreading a positive message to kids they hope members in the community at church.
