LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

A 16-year-old girl was run over by a car this morning in a school parking lot.

Lee County High school officials say a student was walking into school in the student parking lot when she was hit by another student by accident.

The school won't release the minor's name, but says she's in good condition after being released from Phoebe Hospital.

"She's in good spirit, no broken bones. She was released from the hospital, they checked her out, did all the scans and no broken bones which we are very grateful and thankful for that," said Assistant Principal Hank Wright.

Officials say she doesn't plan on pressing charges.
