Investigators from the Special Operations Division of the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office arrested two people Thursday night after a consensual search that resulted in the recovery of several items used to manufacture methamphetamine.
According to investigators 32-year-old Paige Winnell Bruner and 36-year-old Jory Scott Corbitt both of Labelle, Florida were parked in the parking lot in the 1900 block of West Hill Avenue in Lowndes County.
Investigators concluded that the pair had been travelling on Interstate 75 and stopped to to manufacture methamphetamine.
Investigators did a consensual search of the car and recovered a methamphetamine pipe, methamphetamine, and several other items that are used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Corbitt and Bruner were arrested and are now in the Lowndes County Jail.
Corbitt and Bruner are both charged with three felonies: possession of Methamphetamine, possession of items for commission of a crime and possession of items to manufacture a schedule II narcotic.
