Albany pawn shop burglarized

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Police are looking for burglars who broke into an Albany Pawn store early Saturday morning. 

Albany Police responded to an active alarm at C and P Pawn on South Slappey Boulevard around 2:40 am.

Burglars got in by breaking the front glass door, which is now boarded up.

The store does appear to have surveillance cameras, but no video is available at this time.

The suspects got off with jewelry and a briefcase.

The case is still under investigation.

    A Georgia woman who is facing multiple felony charges went before a Dougherty County judge on Thursday morning.  Michelle Oliver is charged with operating an unlicensed personal care home in Albany and exploitation and intimidation of the disabled and elderly.
