Valdosta State puts their season on the line Saturday night at North Alabama.
With two losses including one in conference, VSU knows they have to run the table in their final four games to have a shot at the playoffs.
The Lions of North Alabama are unbeaten through two conference games under new head coach Bobby Wallace.
The Lions are winning games running the football but so is Valdosta State.
Freshmen backs Austin Scott and Cedric O'Neal are leading a ground game that is almost matching the Blazers passing game in yardage each game.
"The safeties are down a little more to play the run. That opens the deeper balls down the field. It opens up a lot of stuff out wide where we like to throw the football in the curls and outs, some screens and different things like that. That is what our run game is doing right now. Opening up those types of things" said VSU head coach David Dean.
VSU won their last game at North Alabama two years ago.
Game time is 7:00 p.m. in Florence, Alabama.
