ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dougherty County Police are asking for help to find an Albany woman they say put a child at risk while getting away from officers Monday.

31-year old Shameka Davis is charged with reckless driving and reckless conduct.

Investigators say she was driving the 2012 Dodge Charger that sped away from the Goodwill Parking Lot when Police spotted Sederrick Culbreth in the car.

He was wanted for armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Culbreth jumped out of the car at 5th and Harding and was caught a few blocks away.

Even though Police told Davis to stop, she sped away.

"There was a small child in the car when all this took place, and due to her reckless driving the reckless charge will be in effect," said Sgt. Chad Kirkpatrick, Dougherty Co. Police.

Police are not sure who the child is.

Tuesday, Fitzgerald Police charged Culbreth with 13 counts of forgery.

They say he passed phony $50 dollar bills at more than a half dozen stores there.

If you have any information about Davis call Dougherty County Police at 430-6600 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
