ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Luke Bryan is leading the country music pack with seven nominations for this years American County Awards. The nominations were announced Wednesday morning.
He beat out big names like Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum to take the top spot. But Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band were right behind Bryan with six nominations.
Bryan is nominated for the night's top honor -- artist of the year -- he has some stiff competition.
Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band and Jason Aldean are also up for the honor.
Bryan is also nominated for male artist, album, single and video of the year.
The American County Awards will be announced on December 10th in Las Vegas.
