The GHSA softball playoffs start this week.
A runner up finish for Lee County earns the Lady Trojans the right to host Ola in the first round of the AAAAAA tournament.
Head coach Lynn Avery says playing at home is a huge advantage for her young team.
Lynn Avery said. "Our kids get to sleep in their own bed tonight before the game. They get to stay in their normal routine. That speaks big for them. I think they will come out and do a good job."
Lee County and Ola play a doubleheader starting at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
A third game if needed is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
