If you're not registered to vote as of now, you won't be able to vote in the November election.

Officials in several counties tell us they had a huge number of people come in to register over the past couple of weeks.

They say every presidential election year they see a boost in voter participation.

"Presidential elections always pushed voter registration totals high. In 2008, we saw a surge with voter registration right before the presidential election and we are seeing the same trend this year," says Veronica Johnson with Lee County Elections.

Election Day is November 6th. Early voting starts Monday and runs through November 2nd.
