The road to perfection continues for the Darton State College men's soccer team. The number one ranked Cavs beat Georgia Perimeter 4-0 in region 17 action at the Darton soccer complex.
The first half saw both teams fail to connect on chances but the Cavs finally found the net when freshman Jorge Chirinos unloaded on a shot just outside the 18 yard box that bounced past the Perimeter keeper. Minutes later, Darton made it 2-0 when Jowayne Laidley controlled a free kick inside the box and finished with a quick turn around left footer that nipped the cross bar before rolling down the back of the net. Darton added two goals in the second half to seal the 4-0 victory.
Darton is now 12-0 on the season and will host Georgia Military College on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
