WORTH CO., GA (WALB) -
Authorities have confirmed that 48-year-old Gregory Fulghum was killed in a house fire Friday morning on Fortune Street in Worth County.
Fulghum was unable to get out of the burning mobile home, but the other resident of the home was.
Betty Booth, 64, suffered heavy smoke inhalation and burns. She was flown to Doctors Hospital in Augusta.
Their three dogs also escaped. One is being boarded by the animal shelter, and two are staying with neighbors.
The fire, which started about 5:45AM, is under investigation.
