CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Cordele Police need your help to find a couple who walked into the 16th Avenue Walmart and walked out with thousands of dollars of electronics they didn't pay for.

Take a look at surveillance video and photos shot at the Cordele Walmart that shows a couple making off with more than $3,000 worth of electronics.

"They notice that there is a cabinet that is loose, the male then tries to work his way into the cabinet, makes enough room to reach his arm in and grabs a couple of items," said Cordele Police Detective Ketorie Sales.

The couple ends up taking seven electronic tablets and two Nikon cameras.

"While he's doing this, the female is blocking his view and watching for anybody who is coming down the aisle in front of them," said Detective Sales.

"It's pretty bold because it's actually one aisle over from the cashier," he continued.

The pair then takes their stolen goods to another aisle and begins to devise a plan to get out of the store unnoticed.

"They go down this aisle and they pull out the things they don't want to purchase or steal and stuffs it in the aisle. They're going to start pulling out Walmart bags that they bought in with them and start bagging up the stolen items," said Detective Sales.

And it works. The thieves walk right past the door greeter with no questions asked.

"There's a door greeter standing there, but they just keep pushing the items right out of the store and it doesn't set off the alarms," said Detective Sales.

Now Police want you to take a good look at the suspects' faces. A camera caught an image right before the couple took off in a silver Cadillac.

Cops want to get these crooks off the street before they strike again.

The man is about 5'11" and 200 pounds. The woman is around 5'7" and 270 pounds.

If you recognize them, you're asked to call Cordele police at 273-COPS.
