A Randolph County father and son are charged in a major marijuana grow operation.
Officers charged Daniel Connelly, Jr. and Daniel Connelly, Sr. with trafficking and manufacturing marijuana.
Deputies seized nearly 200 plants with a street value worth tens of thousands of dollars that were growing inside and outside a home in Coleman.
Drug Agents with the Pataula Drug Task Force served a warrant on their property Monday on Clubhouse Road where they suspected someone was manufacturing marijuana.
They seized several guns, $12,000 cash, and discovered 115 plants on their 330 acre property.
They later discovered that 133 plants had been previously cut and harvested.
Some plants were as tall as seven feet, with a street value of $180,000.
