Lineup for GA Throwdown

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Another big name country star has just been added to an already impressive lineup for the Georgia Throwdown music festival.

Randy Houser known for his hit song "How Country Feels" is the latest artist slated to perform at the Albany Exchange Club Fairgrounds.

The 3-day event kicks off October 12th and will include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Corey Smith, Drivin N Cryin and Big and Rich.

Organizers say they'll use the proceeds to help the community.

"All non profits get to come and keep all the money they make. Nothing to us and nothing to anything and just raise money for themselves. So most festivals are all about profit and we are kind of trying to spread it out throughout the community as much as we can. I think that's the biggest difference between us and maybe some of the other festivals of a similar size," said Evan Barber, Georgia Throwdown Promoter

The three day event will kick off on October 12th.
