DCCS bus driver wanted for assaulting boss

Investigators are looking for a Dougherty County School bus driver accused of hitting her boss.

39-year-old Alisha Lawton is wanted for battery.

School police say she hit a bus route supervisor last Thursday during an argument over a job-related problem.

"The driver had an issue as a matter of paper work. That discussion quickly became heated and the bus driver assaulted the route supervisor," said J.C. Phillips with the Dougherty County School Police.

Lawton was supposed to turn herself in, but she has not.

She's charged with one count of misdemeanor battery.
