News release from Moody Air Force Base
The Moody Air Force Base Open House is scheduled for October 27-28. The event is free and open to the public.
This year's theme, "Legacy of Liberty 2012," celebrates the Air Force's 65th birthday and personnel contributions from WWII to present day.
Entrance gates will open at 9 a.m. and the air show will start at 11 a.m each day.
Aerial demonstrations scheduled include the Air Force Thunderbirds, A-10C Thunderbolt II, HH-60G Pave Hawk, HC-130P/N King.
In addition to aerial demonstrations, a variety of military aircraft are scheduled for static display, along with a C-130 pull, a U.S. Air Force Honor Guard demonstration, and a canned food drive.
