THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A case of bad luck for a suspected drug who is in jail now after being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thomasville Police were serving an arrest warrant on Demetrius Blalock at Villa North Apartments.

They didn't find him, but they got a tip that someone was hiding in the bushes nearby.

That's where they found 41-year old Antonio Clark.

"I guess he thought they were looking for him, who knows. Maybe he just had the marijuana on him and got scared and hid, but luckily somebody called us, or called the detectives and told them where he was at," said Narcotics Commander Kevin Lee.

Clark had several bags of marijuana, scales, and $1,400 cash on him.

Blalock, who police were originally looking for, later turned himself in for probation violations.
