THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The search continues for an escaped Thomas County Prison inmate.
38-year old Jerry Darrin Ross walked off a work detail near Pavo and Airport Roads around 3 O'clock yesterday afternoon.
Ross is originally from Irwin County and was in prison for burglary.
Investigators want anyone who may have seem something that could help them catch Ross to come forward.
"A lot of times someone may have seen something and don't think it's significant, but it may be a piece to a puzzle that is very significant so any information is welcomed at this time," said Captain Steve Jones.
Ross is 5' 9" tall, weighs about 165 pounds, and has short black hair.
