GBI confirms ID of Flint River body

Albany, GA– The body recovered from the Flint River on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, has been identified as Albany State University student Taylor Clayton Terrell.  

The identification was made by a GBIMedical Examiner at the Macon regional lab using dental records provided by the victim's family.

TheMedical Examiner determined that Taylor died as a result of drowning. 

This case is still being investigated by theAlbany State University Police Department, the Albany Police Department, and the GBI Regional Office in Sylvester.
