HAHIRA, GA (WALB) -
A Hahira man was killed late Monday afternoon in a motorcycle crash.
41 year-old James Lumpkin was riding on Highway 41 near Hahira. The motorcycle and a car driven by 36 year-old Joe Cowart tried to switch lanes at the same time.
Lumpkin ran off the road and hit a road sign and a tree. Cowart, an off-duty paramedic, performed CPR, but Lumpkin died at the scene.
No charges have been filed as the State Patrol investigates.
