Deerfield-Windsor's Dallas Margeson not only quarterbacks the Knights offense but also the defense.
Margeson's play on both sides of the football earns him this week's WALB Albany Area Player of the Week.
Dr. James Mason made the presentation to Dallas at the Orthopaedic Associates Clinic on Thursday morning.
Last week, Margeson threw for two touchdowns and ran for another.
On defense, he returned an interception for six more points in the Knights win over previously unbeaten Stratford.
Dallas Margeson said. "It definitely was a big win for us. They knocked us out of the playoffs last year. We still have a long season. We are looking forward to the rest of it."
Deerfield-Windsor is on the road at Tattnall Square on Friday in Macon.
The Trojans are defending state champions but 0-4 to start the 2012 season.
