The city of Albany's 311 information line is the first in Georgia to have a mobile app.

The addition comes on the third anniversary of the call center and internet service system.

You can use it to report problems in your neighborhood and even attach pictures.

City leaders say they couldn't be more pleased with the success of 311 Answers.

"It's just so easy and I think particularly for our staff and department heads, when we are out and about and we see something it's so much easier to report it right there on the spot in a minute and it's done and you forget about it and it goes to where it needs to, I think it will make us a whole lot more efficient," says Wes Smith with City Management.

Last month, the service got nearly 2,900 calls and 226 web hits from citizens asking questions about local government or reporting problems such as potholes or code violations in the community.

You can download the app for free for Iphones and Androids.
