Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority members say they won't let a theft slow down development of the downtown new art park.

Board members say over the weekend... thieves took the glass doors off the hinges of the building being renovated on Pine Avenue.

It will cost ADICA about $5,000 to replace them... But it won't affect plans to move forward with development.

"The steel work is being done now, we're working on the windows, demolition has started, we have our local artists lined up so we can show case their work everything is on track and it will be opening to the public soon," says BJ Fletcher with ADICA.

The development of the art park includes the first mural downtown in more than a decade.
