It was a dream come true for one 3 year-old who's fighting for his life.
Olijah McKinney's family gave him a special celebration today, as he prepares for a stem cell transplant later this month.
On April 21st, McKinney was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that started in his brain but spread to Olijah's bone marrow, ever since, he's been fighting for his life.
"I'm hoping that the lord just takes us through this and he's a strong kid so I know he is going to pull through and he's been battling and we just stick together like nothing else," says Olijah's father Orento McKinney.
But he hasn't fought the battle alone, Olijah's family has been there every step of the way, bringing all his favorite things together in one day.
"In the matter of a few days I contacted a lot of people, many vendors we just very open to the situation. We just got many people to pour out their hearts to Olijah and we thank them," says family member Latasha Jenkins.
The family rallied together to make sure Olijah's normal Saturday afternoon would be out of the ordinary.
"He has a fascination with motorcycles, he has a fascination with fire trucks, he has a fascination with police cars and we tried to give all of that to him today," says family member Debra Mosely.
"They said he loved motorcycles so we came in on our motorcycles," says Tony Moore with Another Level Motorcycle Club.
"I hope it means to the world to him. We're glad to support him, glad to be here with him, and glad to celebrate his day," says Chris Clyde with Street Fam Bike Club.
"It means a lot to the community, just trying to make him happy we don't want him to be uncomfortable. You know he's going through a lot now, the family is going through a lot so we just try to help out. To ease some of the pain they are going through," says Jeffery Works with Rough Riders Albany.
And Olijah's family says he's an encouragement to everyone; a force to be reckoned with.
"16 year cancer survivor and I know God is going to work it out for him as my bishop would say that I got a feeling that everything is going to be alright," says Olijah's Aunt Jessica McKinney.
"Olijah gave me the strength to do this so with all the prayers and everything I know the surgery is going to be a success and with everybody that came through and donated everything and knowing that everybody has his back. We're going to make it, we're team cancer free," says Mosely.
"Our hope for Olijah is a cure, and for all patients dealing with cancer, a cure," says Clyde.
Saturday's Team Cancer Free picnic raised nearly $700.
A donation fund has been set up for Olijah McKinney at Sun Trust Bank in Albany.
