The US Obesity epidemic is promoting careers in fitness.
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics expects employment of fitness trainers to grow by 24-percent by 2020.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says more than one third of American adults are obese.
Albany athletic club owner Tony Powell says more people are realizing they need to get active.
"It is an age where people realize that you really have to take care of yourself and the more you take care of yourself, you stay away from doctors and hospitals," says Tony Powell, Tony's Westside Athletic Club Owner.
Powell says more people are becoming health conscious and want to help other people better their lives by getting healthy.
