Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
An actor and singer returned home to Americus Friday.
Jeffrey Lewis toured the new Phoebe Sumter hospital; stopping to sign autographs and catch up with old friends.
He moved to Atlanta a few years ago to pursue a singing career and was discovered by Tyler Perry through a YouTube video.
Lewis has been touring the nation with Perry's new stage show and has some advice for others who want to follow in his footsteps.
He said, "when you go into this industry it can't be about you. You have to use your gift to help people. And they realize that that's their purpose. Once I found my purpose, everything fell into place."
Lewis will appear in "Madea Gets a Job" September 20th in Columbus and on the 21st at the Civic Center in Albany.
