Have you called Grandma or Grandpa to say Happy Grandparents day?
Grandparents Day was Sunday, but Friday staff and students at Lamar Reese Elementary held a special program for grandparents.
Students sang and danced for their grandparents. And teachers encouraged the grandparents to get involved in their grandchildren's education.
One grandfather told us he believes that's important.
"Grandparents should Participate in the up bringing of their grand kids and families. Get involved and go to the schools, talk to the teachers and do something," said Grandparent Eddie Johnson.
The school also served refreshments to the grandparents and other family members.
Grandparents Day was Sunday, but Friday staff and students at Lamar Reese Elementary held a special program for grandparents.
