Albany Police Officer Gary Price, who's crashed six APD vehicles and been a part of nine crashes, now faces possible termination.

WALB News 10 has learned that the Albany Police Chief has recommended termination for Price. Price's latest crash in June was presented to an accident review board in July.

In that crash, Price, driving an APD SUV, ran a red light and slammed into a pickup truck. Seven people were hurt. They've since hired a lawyer.

Price has a long history of crashes and was involved in a police chase crash that killed two people in 2007.

The city and county paid more than a half million dollars to settle a suit from that crash. It's now up to the city manager to determine if Price will be fired.
