SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A federal judge is refusing to move the discrimination lawsuit against food queen Paula Deen and her family to state court.

The plaintiff in the case, former Uncle Bubba's general manager Lisa Jackson, was trying to get the case moved but Judge William T. Moore Jr. is calling her lawyer's arguments absurd. Jackson had worked at the restaurant until Aug. 19, 2010.

Jackson claims Deen's brother Earl Hiers racially and sexually harassed her.

The Deen family denies the claims.
