Valdosta, Georgia – Mediacom Communications and Valdosta State University announced today that Saturday's college football matchup of VSU versus Angelo State will be broadcast live from Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
"It's not every day that any college football program gets to play in Cowboy Stadium, much less have the game broadcasted back home. We are excited to partner with Mediacom and thrilled that our fans will be able to watch the game live here in Valdosta," said Richard Sisler, VSU Athletics' Director of Sales and Marketing.
Mediacom cable subscribers in Valdosta can see the Blazers take on the Angelo State Rams live on channel 20. Kickoff is scheduled for September 15, at 1:00 p.m. EST.
"This is an exciting opportunity for VSU Athletics and the Valdosta Community," said Melanie Hannasch, Mediacom's Senior Marketing Manager. "We are pleased that Mediacom was able to be a part of it and share it with our customers in Valdosta."
