    Thomasville Police Officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting Sunday night. Employees said the man pulled knife and began swing it at them. He then ran to a vehicle parked in the parking lot and attempted to leave however, but the car would not start, so he took off running.

Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful wants old unwanted Electronics, unwanted/outdated medications, personal documents that need shredding, and empty printer/copier ink cartridges.

KADB wants to promote the proper disposal of unwanted electronics,  medications and ink cartridges and to protect your privacy, while those items are kept out of the landfill.

WHEN:     SATURDAY, September 15, 2012 / Rain or Shine

WHERE:   Parking Lot behind the Civic Center

TIME:       9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Drug collection is free and anonymous, no questions asked. electronics collected free. hard drives are shredded, other components are melted and reused

There is a $10 hazardous material removal fee for TV sets. Document shredding is free with a limit of 10 boxes per person. Ink cartridges collected free. They will be refilled for reuse.
