A couple of South Georgia mayors attended a forum at the Albany Civil Rights Institute to enlighten the public on how city governments run, Thursday.

Albany Police officers were dispatched to 211 Cordele Road Lot 68, in Mayfair Trailer Park in East Albany, where we thought a 17-year-old girl was stabbed.

It turns out that the woman involved was 20, and the man was 22. We do not have their names yet.

APD tells us that the two got into a physical altercation and at some point, officers retrieved a knife.

Both parties were injured in the altercation. No charges have been filed at this point.

APD said that updates will be provided once additional information becomes available.
