VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A Valdosta State University student has created a website for college students to buy and sell their used textbooks online.

VSU senior Jebidiah Light is behind www.jebbles.com.

More than 500 students have registered so far. Membership is free, and the site doesn't make money off the sale. It's convenient too; students sell to other students at their school, so there's no shipping fee, and they can meet up on campus.

"I first made it and I only had my three roommates at the time who signed up for it and now it's gone crazy especially this week," said Light.

Light is not making a profit on the site. He says he just wants to help students out.

Most users are college students in Georgia, but he says some from Florida State University have signed up.
