TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

You've seen their snack foods in stores around the area for years. Now, Lance cookies and crackers are being distributed from a warehouse right here in South Georgia.

Snyder's - the Pennsylvania company that bought Lance Foods in 2010 - has opened a distribution center in Tifton.

The center takes in tractor trailers loaded with the goodies and loads them into step vans which take them to stores throughout the area. The warehouse will create about half a dozen new jobs, and will support another two dozen more. It's the fifth Snyder's distribution center in the state.
