Dougherty County and Albany City commissioners spent most of the day trying to decide how to split revenue from the local option sales tax.
Two mediators from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government met with the commissioners and staff behind closed doors Monday.
So far officials have yet to agree on a new distribution agreement for LOST revenue.
Mediation is phase two. If that fails, it could end up in court.
