UPDATE: Home Invasion leaves three people injured

An overnight home invasion leaves three people injured in Albany. It happened at 1010 9th Avenue just before 1:00 am.

We're told two men dressed in black with masks made entry to the home. Albany Police say once the men were inside they injured three of four people.

One person had to be treated by EMS at the scene. APD says the men used a handgun and left the scene with one of the victim's purse.

The Albany Police Department identified the victims as follows:

Cesar Salazar, 42, Zhi Zhong Jiang, 32, Saiyun Yu, 30 who was taken to Phoebe for further treatment for a laceration on her forehead, Liqin Jiang, 35, Emily Zhu, 9, Jessica Zhu, 6, and Hengxin Zhu, 43.

APD says that Liqin Jiang was inside her bedroom when she heard noises near the back door. She saw the three armed suspects in the house. They her purse and took a large amount of cash. A wallet was also taken from another victim.
