Two organizations are teaming up to keep kids on track for success. Gateway Empowerment Temple Incorporated and HEART Organization Incorporated have linked to sponsor the First Annual Back-to-School Expo, "Snapshots Of Success, Motivating Youth to Excel".

Experts from various fields shared their knowledge and experiences to encourage and motivate the youth to succeed in school and in their communities.

"What we are trying to do is change the way that our children think, so that when they go back to school they can apply themselves so one day they can be a leader in this community," says Anne Johnson Milledge, Event coordinator.

Around 250 kids showed up and they all received school supplies, prizes, and lunch.
