CRISP COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

A Warwick couple is enjoying a new home, Friday, thanks to volunteers and a South Georgia charity.

The Fuller Center for Housing dedicated a home near Lake Blackshear Friday afternoon, the first home built by the chapter there.

The organization, started by the late Millard Fuller who also founded Habitat for Humanity, builds and renovates homes in 60 communities in the US and 16 countries.

This home goes to Walter and Erica Vinson, A well-known Warwick couple thrilled to own their first home.

It's just a wonderful thing to be able to have a home because that's something I thought I'd never have in all my life, somewhere where nobody ever stayed. Look at me now. God has blessed me," said Walter Vinson.

The build was dedicated to Wendy Martin who worked for the Albany Chamber of Commerce before she died last year.
