Police are still awaiting autopsy results to determine what killed a man found dead in a city park in Moultrie. 51 year old Stanley Alderman was found dead early Saturday morning.

Investigators won't say how he died or who they think did it but concerned neighbors are speaking out.

"Everybody was saying the man was dead," says nearby neighbor Doris Biggalo.

Biggalo says Alderman was a nice man, who didn't deserve to die.

"Every time I seen him he was easy quite, I ain' ever known him to mess with nobody."

And neighbors say it's a scary tragedy that happened too close to home.

"It kind of worries me that somebody can do something like that."

While the case is still under investigation, GBI says they are treating it like a homicide.

If you have any information that could help investigators solve this case. GBI agents hope you'll call their Thomasville office at 225-4090. You can remain anonymous.
