Two drivers are okay, Tuesday, after a strange head-on collision on a busy Albany highway snarled traffic during evening rush hour.
Anthony Davis, Jr. was driving east on the bypass between Slappey and Jefferson in his white Chevy Malibu when traffic slowed in front of him.
He didn't have time to stop and veered all the way across the median and struck Erik Taylor's pickup truck.
"I was wondering what the heck is this guy thinking about making a u-turn in the middle of 70 mile per hour traffic. It's just crazy," said Taylor.
Davis was cited for following too closely.
Neither driver was taken to the hospital.
