LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

The Lee County business on Ledo Road went up in flames around 10:15 Saturday morning.

Lee County Fire Department officials turned over the investigation to the state fire marshal's office, who arrested 26-year-old John Rodman, Jr. on Sunday.

He's the son of the owner of Limbcare.  He's charged with one count of first degree arson.

The fire caused $250,000 in damage.

When fire fighters arrived, they saw heavy smoke coming from the building.

They broke through the front door and found fire coming from the back of the business. The fire was so intense it destroyed two front windows.

"There was extensive damage in that particular unit and smoke damage to the unit to the west of it, and the dive shop to the east side of the building had a little bit of smoke but no serious damage," says Paul Branch, Assistant Chief Lee County Fire Dept.

Firefighters were quickly able to get the fire under control.
