Richter Contracting is working with detectives to try to recover some of the tons of property and equipment stolen from them over the Labor Day weekend.
Greg Richter tells WALB that burglars got through chain link and barbed wire fencing to steal over $12,000 worth of specialized roofing equipment from their Washington Street offices.
Equipment that is only used for roofing was taken, and Richter thinks that the crooks are selling it to someone who knows how to use it.
The thieves even took hand tools.
If you have information that could help police, call Crimestoppers at 436-TIPS, and you may earn a reward.
