A 19 year-old Albany woman is finally getting to tell her story of perseverance and triumph.
Keonna Tumblin was 15 when she gave birth to her daughter.
Tumblin returned to school to get her G.E.D., but during that time, her daughter died of pneumonia.
And now, she is telling her story through her book, TURNmanation.
Tumblin says, "I felt like I had a story worth telling and you know it was very hard for me and I know other teens like I said they will see this is what happen to me and this is what I'm trying to do. I didn't let it stop me and I know people go through a lot but they can't let it hold them back from doing what they need to do."
