The Dougherty County School System will have to re-pay thousands of dollars in misused Title One money.
The Department of Education says $134,000 either needs to be re-classified or refunded to the state by September 28th.
Included in that amount is the $91,000 paid to Darrel Sabbs and Associates in a contract that violated school policy.
The state will also bring in a collaborative team to implement a three part District Effectiveness Plan.
