CORDELE (WALB) - A South Carolina man is in the Crisp County Jail charged in a major synthetic marijuana bust.
Deputies pulled over 24-year-old Tyler Brooks on I-75 for a traffic violation.
They noticed a green, leafy substance on his shirt. A K-9 was called in to search the car and discovered nearly 12 pounds of synthetic pot.
Local tests showed positive results for ingredients in violation of Georgia law. It's been sent to the GBI crime lab for further testing.
Brooks is charged with counterfeit controlled substance with intent to distribute.
