COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WALB) -
A Doerun man is charged with stealing from a good Samaritan.
Investigators say Ronnie Perry faked car trouble on Fred Webb Road in Colquitt County and Tim Bozeman stopped to help him.
Police say while Bozeman looked at his car, Perry stole some golf clubs and a chainsaw out of Bozeman's truck.
The victim's father later realized the items were missing from the truck and called police.
When police searched Perry's Ford Ranger, they found receipts where the items had been pawned.
He's charged with burglary, deception, and probation violation.
